There are certain occasions in which gift giving is, well, a bit expected. For example, Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries… they may as well come with a note that says *gift required. In other words, the act of giving during these special times just comes with the celebration. But, did you know there are occasions and holidays that come about where gift giving is not necessarily the norm?
Believe it or not, there are special occasions that will arise this time of year that will have you scrambling to answer the question: do I give a gift, or do I not give a gift?
The easiest answer would be to ignore the thought altogether, but that is not who you are, is it? You love to see the smile on someone’s face as you surprise him or her with a gift. It is thoughtful and it is kind. And, in our world today, we need that.

Graduations
Graduates work hard and they deserve some TLC. Why not be the one to give it to them? Create a spa day at home and let them relax with their favorite snacks. For those heading off to college, provide them with gifts that will come in handy at their home away from home.

Baby showers seem to be common this time of year. The new mom is going to be inundated with all sorts of things for the new baby, but what about her self-care? Be the one to set yourself apart by giving gifts that will cheer up the mom-to-be and revive her spirit.

There are many reasons to congratulate someone – and these moments pop up all year long. Big moments in someone’s life shouldn’t go unnoticed. Be the one to acknowledge their big news by giving a gift made just for them. Whether it is a new career or promotion, a new home, a new baby, etc. a personalized gift will be a very heart-warming gesture that is sure to be remembered.

Moms come in all shapes, sizes, and relations – and you don’t have to birth a child to be a mom. In fact, there are many women throughout the world who have stepped up to fill a mother’s shoes when no one else would. And, it takes a special set of characteristics to look after the needs of others.
These incredible women who quietly put little lives before their own may be biological moms, stepmoms, foster moms, grandmothers, great grandmothers, and more. And, Mother’s Day is about applauding moms everywhere – not just your own. So, on this day it is important to recognize your family and your friends. Even strangers.
Being a mom is often as exhausting as it is rewarding. And, while they may not like the recognition and attention for all they do, give it anyways. There is no way you can provide them with a gift that will compare to the amount of sacrifice that a mom has made in life, but a personalized Mother’s Day gift is a good place to start.
